Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for Travel Retail Asia business based in Hong Kong. The role will report directly to the Finance Director, with one of the key responsibilities to partner with the commercial team to ensure that our strategic pricing framework and revenue growth roadmaps allow us to win in various markets with a focus on consistency and profitability.

Successful candidate will need to collaborate extensively and effectively with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Management, Commercial, Marketing and Demand Planning teams.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

Implementation of both local and global Revenue Growth Management initiativesPricing strategy and methodology:

  • Pricing analysis: create analytical frameworks to support markets in their pricing decisions with consideration of the value creation for the company, its customers and consumers. Preparation of dashboards, KPIs and recommendations and present them to a variety of audiences.
  • International pricing: provide pricing guidelines to markets to ensure:
    • consistency of prices across countries
    • convergence between commercial strategies and brands development
  • Identify and support any initiatives on pricing strategies which deems essential for business growth

Trade term and promotion management:

  • Help markets in building and maintaining robust trade terms structures and improving promotional efficiency
  • Provide support to various key account management

Project Management:

  • Implement a Trade Promotion Management (TPM) tool with the support from GTR HQ team, dedicated consultant and provider.
  • Understand affiliates various practices and processes to design tool functionalities benefiting to our local needs
  • Be the ambassador of the tool: guaranty its adoption rate, train and support the users to make the tool a sustainable competitive advantage

Business Analysis:

  • Prepare financial analysis and presentation for latest business performance.
  • Prepare monthly business review and provide customer profitability and analysis to management.
  • With the implementation of a new business performance monitoring riding on Finance Transformation initiative rolled out across the Group, the candidate is expected to:
    • Adhere the new S&OP process and to work closely with Demand Planning team to ensure the monthly rolling forecast is in line with business needs.
    • Actively involved in the Volume-to-Value simulation to ensure Net Sales are accurately simulated through Anaplan
    • Manage Allocation Process with active collaboration with GTR HQ RGM and local supply chain team
  • Assist in any ad hoc commercial projects which require financial inputs
  • Assess and evaluate IT needs to enhance efficiency to the operational work.
  • Assist in any ad hoc project as specify by Finance Director.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline. Holder with professional accounting qualifications, e.g. ACCA, HKICPA, is an advantage.
  • At least 8 years relevant experiencesin revenue growth management and data analysis, preferably with experiences in MNC and sizable corporations.
  • Strong excel & analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge in information systems (ERP, BI) and business intelligence required
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English, with good communication skills
  • Multi-tasking capacity
  • Positive can-do mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills, with strong capability to work with all levels and all functions within and outside the organization
