Responsibilities
1 1. Responsible for ByteDance PostgreSQL and NewSQL product architecture, design and development 2. Responsible for ByteDance distributed database engine design and development 3. Responsible for ByteDance third-generation self-developed distributed database architecture evolution and exploration.
Qualifications
1. Good communication and teamwork skills 2. Solid knowledge of Linux system, proficient in C/Python/Golang/Shell language 3. Familiar with at least one database: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, MySQL 4. Have certain architecture and design capabilities for high-performance, high-concurrency, large-scale transactional or complex analytical data systems 5. Familiar with the design and implementation of excellent data-related systems in the industry, and have in-depth research on distributed systems 6. Practical experience in the field of big data/database/storage is preferred 7. Have research and development of open source database system kernels such as PostgreSQL, Greenplum, and MySQL Experience is preferred.
