Job Purpose
Ensure China Dulux Emulsion's business objectives are met, handle consumer channel main price-tier products in super premium segments, currently total 20 product lines and 69 SKUs, 100mn sale business with high growth (15% & 1000%+) , contribute 28% of total SPP segment & control channel in China retail emulsion. Main objectives are focusing on 3 aspects:
Key Accountabilities
- Strategy Planning (20%):
- Develop business plan in short/mid/long term for assigned product lines to fit for Dulux brand and business strategy
- Portfolio management (25%):
- Lead assigned product lines portfolio management to build strong and efficient portfolio to support business healthy growth.
- Product and pricing strategy management with region/channel
- SKU rationalization and closely monitor portfolio healthy check
- Key contact window for aesthetics and performance products in TT control channel
Key Activities
- NPD and Innovation (35%):
- Investigate market opportunity to develop next year NPD and 3-5 years product groups life cycle to drive brand innovation leadership.
- Product owner of NPD to lead NPD whole process till launch, incl. gate process, communication with region/channel, technical team, finance team, brand/digital team, etc.
- Closely tracking NPD after launch, identify root cause and key learning in high level meetings.
- Develop innovation/renovation ideas to fit for product group/sub-brand strategy.
- Product scope:
- Mainly focus on 20 product lines and 69 SKUs, contribute 28% of total SPP segment & control channel in China retail emulsion. Include aesthetics pillar which is emerging business and significantly important to make brand differentiation and supplement channel profit, performance pillar which have high potential to build sales growth with add-valued attributes.
- Support strategic product range for mass channel development (around workload).
Experience
- Bachelor degree with business related majority. Minimum of 3-4 years brand marketing background in multi-national company, better in FMCG. Solid experience in product innovation, and better with experience in brand marketing.
- Have good strategic thinking. Be creative. Strong ownership.
- Strong business sense and communication skill
- Be able to take leadership and be self-motivated.
- Ability to work under pressure.
