Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting book entries and expenses management of the business
  • Assist in the Annual Budget Planning exercise, perform analysis of budget and expenses and compile regular reports for management review
  • Manage the quality of vendor service and establish quality control measures (e.g. set up SLA and on-going monitoring)
  • Prepare presentation materials in relation to budget and expenses for presentation in regular management meetings.
  • Handle enquiries and requests from internal stakeholders and regulators
  • Provide on-going support and follow up the action plans of Employee Engagement Survey
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects
  • Perform the role of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Co-ordinator and perform the tasks in accordance with BCM requirements
  • Provide administrative support to COO and senior members of the team

Requirements
  • University graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial services industry
  • Detail conscious with strong analytical and planning skills
  • Well versed with regulations applicable to brokerage and risk management principles would be an asset
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multi-tasks
  • Strong people and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Powerpoint
