Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting book entries and expenses management of the business
- Assist in the Annual Budget Planning exercise, perform analysis of budget and expenses and compile regular reports for management review
- Manage the quality of vendor service and establish quality control measures (e.g. set up SLA and on-going monitoring)
- Prepare presentation materials in relation to budget and expenses for presentation in regular management meetings.
- Handle enquiries and requests from internal stakeholders and regulators
- Provide on-going support and follow up the action plans of Employee Engagement Survey
- Drive cost savings initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects
- Perform the role of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Co-ordinator and perform the tasks in accordance with BCM requirements
- Provide administrative support to COO and senior members of the team
Requirements- University graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial services industry
- Detail conscious with strong analytical and planning skills
- Well versed with regulations applicable to brokerage and risk management principles would be an asset
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multi-tasks
- Strong people and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Powerpoint
