Assistant Human Resources Officer
The appointee will carry a job title of Assistant Human Resources Officer (at the rank of General Clerk II), and will be responsible for (a) supporting teaching staff appointment/review-related matters (b) maintaining system operations and records (c) assisting in daily office operations (d) answering enquiries and (e) undertaking other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (iii) fast and accurate word-processing skills (iv) an effective command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (v) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Office (vi) the willingness to learn and contribute in a team setting and (vii) good communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree and work experience of 2 years or more in the human resources sector will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
Selection will be made on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview, and complete a written and IT assignment on-site in due course.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory.
