About the Role

IAR is part of Qt Group, operating as an independent business focused on embedded software development. We provide software development tools that help engineers develop, debug, test, and secure embedded software for products across automotive, industrial automation, medical technology, and other industries.

As a Field Application Engineer/Technical Support (FAE/TS), you will be the technical driving force behind our business in Taiwan and Southeast Asia (including Australia and New Zealand), as part of a small team in Taipei.

You will take full ownership of your customers, from technical discovery and evaluation through to technical support, working side by side with Sales as a co-driver to turn customers embedded development challenges into business opportunities through a proactive, solution-based approach. Working closely with silicon partners, Marketing, and our global technical support team across EMEA, the US, and APAC, you will help customers get the most out of our tools.

Work with silicon partners and other ecosystem partners on joint webinars, seminars, and events that generate leads based on market need.
Keep technical pipeline, evaluation status, and win/loss insights up to date, and act as the feedback loop between the field and IAR's product teams.
Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management, localize technical content for the market, and share knowledge across the APAC FAE team.
