About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager who enjoys meeting people, developing business opportunities and building long-term client relationships. This role is suitable for someone who is commercially driven, proactive and comfortable engaging business owners, HR professionals, hiring managers and other decision-makers. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing prospective clients, understanding their business needs and working with our internal teams to turn opportunities into sustainable partnerships.

Key responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential client partnerships.
Reach out to prospective clients through networking, referrals, outreach and other business development channels.
Meet business owners, HR professionals, hiring managers and decision-makers to understand their manpower and business needs.
Present suitable solutions based on each client's requirements.
Manage the business development process from initial introduction and discussion through proposal, negotiation and closing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and partnerships.
Work closely with our recruitment, marketing and operations teams to ensure client requirements are properly supported.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
Follow up consistently and take ownership of opportunities until there is a clear outcome.

About you

Have experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, Partnerships or Client Servicing.
Are comfortable reaching out to new prospects and building business relationships from the ground up.
Can communicate confidently and professionally with business owners and decision-makers.
Enjoy understanding a client's needs and recommending suitable solutions.
Are commercially minded and motivated by achieving measurable results.
Are proactive and comfortable managing your own pipeline and follow-ups.
Can work independently while collaborating closely with other teams.
Have good communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
Are organised and able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
