Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive GTM activities in Singapore and across APAC region, with dedicated focus on key growth countries. You will act as a bridge between Global team, Regional cross functional team, and Local Sales team. Build long-term customer relationships and identifying and developing sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. By embedding ABB solutions into the blueprints of major design institutes and international consultants, you will directly drive market demand for ABB Smart Building Critical Power portfolios.

This role is contributing to the Smart Buildings Solutions business within ABB Electrification in Singapore. Main stakeholders are Sales teams, Product Marketing teams, Consultants, System Integrators, Developers, End Users, EPCs, Contractors, and Channel Partners.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Develop and execute growth strategies for the Smart Buildings (Critical Power) business, ensuring alignment with division objectives and driving profitable growth in orders, revenues, and market share.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across key customer segments, including Data Centres, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, and other critical infrastructure markets, while driving specification activities and building a strong project pipeline.
Drive demand generation and portfolio growth through close collaboration with consultants, end users, channel partners, and internal stakeholders, providing sales enablement and supporting business development initiatives.
Strengthen ABB's market position through customer engagement, technical presentations, training programs, product launches, seminars, and promotional activities that communicate ABB's value proposition and solutions effectively.

Qualifications For The Role

You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Automation Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
You have 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, product marketing, specification, or pre-sales roles within Smart Buildings, Building Automation, Electrification, Energy Management, or related industries.
You possess strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution, energy management systems, smart building technologies, IoT-enabled solutions, digitalization, or low- and medium-voltage electrification applications.
You have a proven track record of driving specification activities, developing new business opportunities, and influencing consultants, developers, end users, and other key stakeholders to successfully position complex solutions.
You are highly skilled in solution selling, customer engagement, and strategic relationship management, with the ability to create customer value and drive sustainable business growth.
You communicate effectively in English and are confident presenting technical and commercial solutions to diverse audiences while collaborating across cross-functional teams, channel partners, and customers.
You are willing to travel up to 30–40% across key APAC markets to support business development activities, consultant engagement programs, and major project specifications.
