Responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within stipulated timelines.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury-related activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Prepare GST returns and support tax-related matters.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or related industries.
Experience handling full sets of accounts and month-end closing activities.
Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore) will be an advantage.
Experience working in a multinational or regional business environment.
Familiarity with maritime or vessel-related accounting processes is preferred.
