[Key responsibilities]

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing schedules.

• Take ownership of selected general ledger accounts and ensure timely, accurate and complete financial records.

• Assist in preparing management reports, statutory reports, and group reporting packages in accordance with IFRS, EAS and company policies.

• Support external audit processes by preparing audit schedules, responding to audit inquiries, and coordinating required documentation.

2. Account Payable & Receivable

• Handle and review invoice processing, employee reimbursements, vendor payments, client billing and collection status to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain and review vendor, customer and accounting master data in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Identify process gaps or control issues in AP/AR workflows and recommend improvements.

3. Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT, WHT, CIT and other tax returns in compliance with Taiwan regulations.

• Support matters related to customs duties, stamp tax and tax incentives.

• Coordinate with external tax advisors and assist with audits and documentation requests.

4. System, Internal Control & Cross-Functional Support

• Assist in accounting system optimization, process standardization, and internal control enhancement.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and tax-related matters.

5. Perform other tasks or projects assigned by the Accounting and Tax Manager, such as collaborating in the Budgeting process, updating and analyzing the Financial Model, among others.

[Requirments]

At least 3 years of experience with one of the Big Four accounting firms.
Business-level English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and through written correspondence.
Candidates looking to transition from a Big Four accounting firm to an in-house corporate accounting role are highly preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
