About The Role

As Ranger Buddies expands beyond Mandai Wildlife Reserve into hotels, retail, F&B, attractions, schools, communities and regional markets, we are looking for an entrepreneurial commercial manager to drive partnerships that create both business impact and positive social outcomes.

Reporting to the Lead, Sales & Partnership, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth for the Ranger Buddies intellectual property through strategic partnerships and business development. The Manager, Commercial Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships that expand the Ranger Buddies ecosystem across Singapore and key regional markets.

This role combines business development, partnership management and commercial strategy to grow new revenue streams while increasing the reach and engagement of Ranger Buddies amongst families with children.

The successful candidate is commercially driven, creative, relationship-oriented and passionate about creating meaningful experiences that inspire the next generation.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Business Development & Commercial Growth

Develop and execute the commercial partnership strategy to grow Ranger Buddies across multiple industries.
Identify, qualify and secure new partnership opportunities that generate sustainable revenue.
Build a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities across Singapore and selected regional markets.
Negotiate commercial agreements that maximise long-term value for both Ranger Buddies and partners.
Achieve annual sales and partnership revenue targets.
Represent Mandai X at networking events, industry engagements and business meetings to generate new partnership opportunities.

Strategic Partnerships

Drive partnerships across multiple categories such as Food & Beverage, Consumer Brands, Government Agencies, Community Organisations, Travel & Airlines, Finanical Institutions, Family Lifestyle Brands
Develop partnership models including but not limited to sponsorships, licensing, brand collaborations, family engagement programmes, co- marketing campaigns.
Lead client presentations, commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
Develop compelling partnership proposals and business cases.
Serve as the primary point of contact for your portfolio, ensuring successful delivery and identifying opportunities for partnership growth.

Commercial Solution Development

Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, commercially viable partnership solutions that leverage the Ranger Buddies IP to meet client objectives and deliver measureable value.
Develop customised proposals that may include Digital Missions, Physical Activations, Family Experiences, Educational Content, Interactive Learning, Collectibles, Merchandise, Seasonal Campaigns, Marketing Collaborations.

Account & Relationship Management

Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
Serve as the key commercial lead throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners.
Identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships.
Ensure successful execution alongside cross-functional teams.

Commercial Strategy

Monitor industry trends and identify new commercial opportunities.
Analyse market developments and competitor activities.
Recommend new products, services and partnership models.
Develop annual commercial plans and growth strategies.
Prepare business cases and investment proposals.

Performance & Reporting

Achieve agreed revenue, partnership and business development KPIs.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business development updates.
Track partnership performance, market insights and emerging opportunities, providing recommendations to support business growth.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time.

Regional Expansion

Support Ranger Buddies International Growth By

Identifying expansion opportunities across Southeast Asia and other priority markets.
Developing regional licensing and partnership opportunities.
Building relationships with overseas tourism boards, attractions, hotels and commercial partners.
Conducting market assessments and commercial feasibility studies.
Supporting regional business negotiations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
Approximately 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Commercial Partnerships, Account Management or Strategic Sales.
Proven track record of identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities to achieve commercial targets.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Commercially minded, resourceful and entrepreneurial, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop tailored partnership solutions.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in consumer brands, attractions, tourism, hospitality, retail, media, family entertainment is advantageous.
Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications and AI productivity tools will be an advantage.
Experience in intellectual property (IP), brand partnerships, licensing, education, attractions and regional business development is a plus.
