Job Description:

The Manager / Senior Manager of Technology Delivery will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that drive Sun Life's business objectives. This role demands a strategic visionary with a robust background in project management, application development, and digital transformation, coupled with a deep understanding of the insurance industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and orchestrate the delivery of complex digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless alignment with business goals and evolving customer needs.
Oversee large-scale cloud migration initiatives, guaranteeing smooth transitions and optimal performance of cloud-based applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital solutions and managing large-scale projects, particularly in cloud migration and digital transformation.
Comprehensive knowledge of digital technologies and trends relevant to the insurance sector, with a focus on emerging technologies.
Demonstrated expertise in API design and development, with a deep understanding of best practices for system integration.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization.
Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and their practical application in large-scale projects.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) strongly preferred.
