Responsibilities

As a key member of the SG CBG Credit team, you will:

Lead a team of experienced credit approvers to ensure sound, consistent, and policyaligned lending decisions.
Oversee complex and escalated cases, providing clear guidance and strong credit judgment.
Uphold disciplined underwriting standards and ensure decisions reflect the banks risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
Partner with business, product, and risk teams to support responsible growth while maintaining credit discipline.
Strengthen credit processes, documentation quality, and governance practices across the approval workflow.
Drive continuous improvement and promote efficiency, consistency, and transparency in credit decisioning.
Develop team capabilities, foster a culture of professionalism and accountability, and ensure strong succession readiness.

Requirements

Youll thrive in this role if you bring:

10+ years of experience in consumer credit risk, with strong exposure to underwriting of retail and wealth products
Proven leadership experience managing a credit team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Strong understanding of credit risk, collateral management, portfolio analytics, and risk controls.
Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes across risk, business, and control functions

Qualifications & Knowledge

A recognised degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
Strong Understanding of consumer lending regulations and compliance requirements
Knowledge of industry best practices, trends and emerging technologies in consumer banking
