Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Finance Manager to lead financial operations and enforce disciplined financial control across multiple construction projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full set of accounts and deliver accurate financial reporting to support management decisions
Oversee project costing, work-in-progress (WIP), revenue recognition, and profitability analysis to optimize project financial outcomes
Control progress claims, subcontractor payments, and retention sums to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall financial performance across multiple projects for effective resource allocation
Ensure compliance with GST, tax, and regulatory requirements to maintain legal and financial integrity
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations
Strengthen and maintain internal controls and financial governance to mitigate risks and enhance accountability
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capability and drive performance

Required competencies and certifications

Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience with strong exposure in the construction or engineering sector
Solid understanding of project accounting, WIP, and contract costing
Proven experience managing progress billing, project budgets, and financial forecasting
Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, GST, and taxation
