1 Head, Human Resources

1.1 Job Purpose:
Design and implement the overall Human Resource strategy, policies and processes for NATGRID, linking it with the organizational strategy.

1.2 Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1.2.1
Responsible for the HR Strategy of NATGRID and aligning it to the organizational plans, employee aspirations and leading practices in order to support NATGRID in meeting its people objectives.

1.2.2
Responsible for HR policies and procedures which meet the strategic objectives of NATGRID and support attraction and retention of the talent.

1.2.3
Responsible for Recruitment, Selection and Induction Policies and Procedures in order to attract, select and retain the eBest Talentf within NATGRID.

1.2.4
Responsible for building Employee Engagement initiatives at NATGRID in order to build a highly motivated and engaged workforce.

1.2.5
Responsible for developing Culture building initiatives across NATGRID to create a work environment which is conducive to achieving organizational objectives.

1.2.6
Responsible for creating Learning & Development policies & processes including Training Needs Identification, conduct of training programs and Training evaluation.

1.2.7
Responsible for creating the Performance Management framework and provide guidance to the Performance Management Process.

1.3 Required Qualification, Skills & Experience:

1.3.1 Skills & Experience: Experience includes research, teaching & independent consulting experience in relevant function/domain.

1.3.1.1
Private sector employee with minimum of 14 yearsf experience in Human Resources Function

OR

Retired government employee who worked at a Grade Pay of Rs 8,700 and above, with at least 14 yearsf experience in Human Resources function

1.3.1.2
Experience of setting up & leading the HR Function in an organization with over 100 people.

1.3.1.3
Experience of designing and conducting Organizational Development interventions in large organizations.

1.3.1.4
Experience in research, teaching & independent consulting in relevant domain.

1.3.2 Qualification:
Maters Degree in Management or Equivalent.

1.4 Schedule for completion of tasks:
1 year.

1.5 Final Output:
Design & Implement the entire HR framework at NATGRID.
